Real Talk - Putting People Straight

Okay, so most of us know that Erik's server is a great place to relax and have fun on minecraft. We can have this fun, because we have such great staff in; Erik, Thor and Blake. However over the last couple of days, this fun side to the server has started to deteriorate. This is because of all the 10 year old boys and girls on the server chatting like they own the place.

Now I'm not really speaking for everyone on the server, but just our faction (James0503, owenburgyboy, Derpina_219). We raid on a regular basis, and like to Pvp a lot. We all have high sword skills and such good enchantments to our swords, that killing people, is like finding a tree in a forest. Because of this we get accused quite a lot of griefing. Now this brings me back to mentioning the younger players on the server, not necessarily 10 year olds. I just want to take you to an incident on the server that happened sometime this morning. Owenburgyboy and I, went to a faction base called 'Troys' which we Pvp with regularly. Cut a story short, we got into their base by some expert persuasion, and killed them easily. They lost power and we took the stuff they dropped. Now the rules at spawn, state that you can only take from chests if your at war with that faction, which we are. So we took some stuff and started looking around the faction base. Owen accidently trod on their farm and some potatoes popped up, also we did replant the potatoes after Owen done it. This is where the nightmare begins. One of the faction members of Troy starts screaming, "we're being griefed, someone help, Erik, Erik!" Now don't get me wrong, but you would panic in this situation. But not by accusing two innocent people of a crime that they haven't committed. Also, because I did get banned a couple of days ago for griefing, which I couldn't see then, but I accept the apology now, you would believe them. Furthermore, because the server owner is so awesome, he gave me a second chance to redeem myself. Now I felt privileged to be trusted enough to be given this. So why would I go and chuck the second chance away just like that?

Now Owen and I got really 'wound up'. Even to the point of Owen shaking through anger and aggression. He felt like this because he knew he had done nothing wrong, but couldn't change what a staff member said because this staff member really doesn't get on with Owen. Luckily enough though, the staff member didn't take any action, and said that he would 'forget about it for now'. Erik came back online and also said 'not to worry'. But that's not the point. We get annoyed because we get moaned at for griefing, when we don't actually do anything wrong. If your going to accuse us of griefing, please take a screenshot and have some hardcore proof because it's getting to the point where I'm going to flip and start punching someone in the face. So let me just clear a few things up.

1) You're allowed to kill other players (PVP)
2) I'm allowed to take what's in your inventory when you die.
3) I can take stuff from your chests if we're at war. (Which we are with most other factions).
4) Have proof if you're going to accuse us of cheating/griefing.
5) Owen didn't mean to tread on that farm.

Now play on Erik's server, and stop shouting "I'm being griefed" when someone kills you in your faction base. Have Fun.

I see I might have to get back on very soon and re-make the rules wall, and add an even bit more of rules.

What sort of Rules are you thinking of putting up?

Maybe stuff like, Be mature @Under 12 year olds
